Steven Yeun has officially confirmed that he dropped out of the upcoming Marvel movie Thunderboltsdue to scheduling conflicts. The news first broke on yesterday, but Yeun hadn’t publicly addressed it until now.

However, In a recent interview, Yeun expressed his regret about having to leave the project, saying that it was a “difficult decision.” He also revealed that he’s still interested in doing a Marvel movie in the future.

“It was a tough choice to make,” Yeun said. “I was really excited about the project, and I’m so sorry to the fans who were looking forward to seeing me in it. But ultimately, the scheduling just didn’t work out.”

“It took a lot of drafts on email to make sure that I conveyed sincerity of how sorry I was to have to back out.”

Yeun didn’t specify what other commitments he had that conflicted with “Thunderbolts,” but it’s likely that his busy schedule as a rising star was a factor. He’s currently starring in the AMC series “Invincible” Season 2 Part 2 and has several other projects lined up.
