Ajay Devgn has begun filming for Raid 2 in Mumbai: In the lively city of Mumbai, on January 6th, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has kicked off shooting for his much-anticipated movie Raid 2. This film is a sequel to the one released in 2018, called Raid.

Ajay is teaming up with director Raj Kumar Gupta again for this sequel. Raj Kumar Gupta is known for his earlier films like Aamir and No One Killed Jessica in 2011, and he also directed the first Raid.

The shooting began in Mumbai on a Saturday and will take place in different locations like Delhi, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Film expert Taran Adarsh shared the news: AJAY DEVGN: RAID 2 STARTS TODAY… SET TO RELEASE ON NOVEMBER 15, 2024… #IRS Officer #AmayPatnaik is back… #AjayDevgn reunites with director #RajkumarGupta for #Raid2, the sequel to #Raid (2018).

He added, “The film begins shooting in #Mumbai today and will be shot in #Mumbai, #Delhi, #UP, and #Rajasthan. #Raid2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar… In cinemas on November 15, 2024 (sic).”

Ajay Devgn will be reprising his role as IRS Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Amay Patnaik, in this sequel.

Raid is based on a real-life income-tax raid that happened in the 1980s, where Income Tax Department officers targeted Sardar Inder Singh. It’s known for being the longest raid in Indian history, lasting for three days and two nights.
