The report states that Bhupinder and his group fired multiple rounds at the family using both legal and illegal guns. Tragically, Govind (23) lost his life, while Gurdeep Singh (father), Meera Bai (mother), and Amreek Singh (brother) are critically injured and receiving treatment in a hospital. Who all have been arrested so far?
Following the incident, Moradabad DIG Muniraj met with the injured family. The Singhs accuse the police of neglect, claiming their complaint on November 19 received no attention. As of now, two individuals involved in the shooting have been arrested.

What led to the firing?
Reportedly, Gurdeep Singh had a disagreement with his neighbor Bhupinder about cutting Eucalyptus trees on his farm. Despite Gurdeep’s complaint to the Badhapur police on November 19, no action was taken. The tension escalated, resulting in Bhupinder and his friends firing about 10 rounds with licensed and illegal firearms. Police action
The DIG assured an ongoing investigation, with a search for two more suspects. Regarding police negligence, he pledged a thorough inquiry and strict action if lapses are found. Notably, Badhapur police station in-charge Sumit Rathi, inspector Yasin, and police constable Krishna Kumar have been suspended.
