One more unexpected collaboration from Hollywood, because Jeff Sneider of The InSneider, reported. Rising star Jenna Ortega is reportedly in talks to take the lead in Taika Waititi’s upcoming sci-fi film, “Klara and the Sun.“
Ortega, who has recently garnered widespread acclaim for her breakout role as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series of the same name, and Tara Carpenter in Scream 6, is quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most sought-after young talents.

Taika Waititi’s upcoming sci-fi is Based on the 2021 novel of the same name by Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro, “Klara and the Sun” tells the story of Klara, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) housed in a humanoid companion for children. Through Klara’s unique perspective, the film explores themes of artificial consciousness, love, and loss in a world struggle with the ethical implications of advanced technology.
