It follows Farhan (25), who fulfills his grandma’s last wish by making a new funeral bed for her. Even though there’s disagreement in the family about it, Farhan’s mom is upset about the bed.

His focus on his grandma strains his relationship with his girlfriend Nargis, making their visit tense. Things take a tragic turn when Farhan learns about his dad’s sudden passing, throwing him into deep emotional turmoil and changing how he sees life. ‘Gahvara’ will be shown at the 29th Kolkata International Film Festival on December 8 and 12.
