In terms of looks, the 2024 Bajaj Chetak Urbane sticks to the same design as the older model but brings some upgrades under the hood. Now, this electric scooter claims a range of 113 km on a single charge, up from the previous 108 km. It’s worth noting that the 113 km range is officially certified, while the earlier 108 km claim was more of a real-world estimate (IDC rating – 126 km). Both versions use the same 2.9 kWh battery pack.

The Urbane variant comes with an off-board 650-watt charger, while the Premium variant boasts an 800-watt onboard charger. This change means a longer charging time of 4 hours and 50 minutes compared to the Premium variant’s 3 hours and 50 minutes.

The new Bajaj Chetak Urbane is notably more affordable, bringing a mix of improvements and cost savings. We can expect Bajaj to update the Chetak Premium soon to match the Urbane’s enhancements. In the market, the Bajaj Chetak e-scooter competes with others like the Ather 450S, Ola S1 Air, TVS iQube, and similar models.
