Kriti Sanon shared her thoughts on ‘nepotism’ in Bollywood, suggesting that if producers launch someone from the industry, they should also give chances to outsiders who may be more talented. In an interview with Vogue India, she mentioned the industry’s trend towards valuing talent and scripts over relying solely on established stars and big names.

In the interview, Kriti mentioned, the industry can be more open to outsiders if we provide equal opportunities. If you’re launching someone from within, also make room for someone outside who might be more talented. Gradually, the world is shifting towards valuing talent and scripts over big names and stars.
She also said, i have seen a lot of videos about vision boards and manifesting that say if you believe something can happen it will happen. But for me, I’ve learned that if I really chase a specific goal, it just doesn’t happen.
Kriti won a National Award this year.
In October, Kriti achieved a big milestone by winning her first National Award. On October 17, she was honored with the Best Actor Award for her role in “Mimi” at the 69th National Film Awards ceremony. Sharing her joy with news agency ANI, Kriti said, “It’s a surreal moment. I believe this is every actor’s dream. I thought it was something far off since I haven’t even spent 10 years in the industry, but for something like this to happen, I feel very blessed and grateful.”

She is set to appear with Shahid Kapoor in a romantic film, scheduled for release in theaters on February 9, 2024. Additionally, Kriti will be part of The Crew, sharing the screen with Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Diljit Dosanjh.
