The Village Tamil horror series: The Village, a creation of BS Radhakrishnan’s Studio Shakthi and directed by Milind Raju, takes a new spin on horror. It had its big debut at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
The first episode of The Village, a much-anticipated Tamil series, had a star-studded premiere at the ongoing IFFI. Big names like Arya, Divya Pillai, Milind Rau, and Aparna Purohit (Prime Video’s Head of Originals – India and Southeast Asia) graced the red carpet. Prithul Kumar, Director of IFFI, MD of NFDC Ltd., and Joint Secretary (Films) at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, were also there.

The applause at the end of the episode was a clear sign that The Village left horror fans wanting more.

The Village premieres on Prime Video on November 24 in Tamil, with dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi and English subtitles, reaching over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
