The Archies: Zoya Akhtar’s new movie, The Archies, starring Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda, just came out on Netflix!
Big-shot filmmakers like Karan Johar, Subhash Ghai, and Boney Kapoor are all praising it. They love the cool set designs, awesome camera work, dance moves, and stylish outfits in the movie. Karan even posted on Instagram, saying how the small details and beautiful looks will grab your attention.

Karan gave a big shout-out to Agastya Nanda for making a tricky character loveable and to Khushi Kapoor for breaking hearts in the most beautiful way. He’s super excited about Suhana Khan’s acting and thinks she’s here to stay and conquer.
Boney Kapoor got all nostalgic, remembering his school days when Archie’s comics were a big deal. He thinks Zoya’s movie takes you back in time, with perfect casting, catchy songs, and an awesome crew.

Even Katrina Kaif joined in, saying The Archies brings back an innocent and charming era we’ve kind of forgotten. She loves how every frame is carefully made.

Subhash Ghai, the director of Khalnayak, also had his say. He went to the premiere of The Archies and loved how Zoya Akhtar mixed musical vibes with real-life performances from new talent. He called it a Broadway-style show. He shared all this on X (formerly Twitter) right after the movie premiered at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center on December 5.
