In a recent chat, she shared that after finishing her studies, she wanted to help her dad with his business. Becoming an actress was never on her radar.

“I thought I’d go home after graduation and work with my dad. But life had other ideas,” she said.

Rashmika stumbled into modeling while studying, and that opened the door to acting. When she signed up for her first movie, she kept it a secret from her family.

For that first film, she got a paycheck of Rs 1.5 lakh. The amount shocked her, so she handed the check to her mom. Even her mom was surprised by the big amount.

Around that time, Rashmika finally spilled the beans to her mom about wanting to be an actress. Surprisingly, her dad, who once dreamed of being an actor himself, was thrilled with her decision.
