Leo’s success story includes strong advance bookings in all regions, making it the first Kollywood Cinema film to open with a whopping 100Cr+. It not only broke the previous record by 50Cr but also raked in an impressive 145Cr+ on its debut.

Before the first show even started, Leo crossed the 100Cr mark in advance bookings—an achievement that even Prabhas’s Salaar couldn’t reach, facing weaker bookings in other languages. Salaar found its stronghold only in Telugu states, while Leo created anticipation across the South and overseas.
The Hindi version of Salaar had a slow start in advance bookings, unlike Leo, which saw a solid surge in pre-bookings across the South and international territories. Leo outshone Salaar, settling comfortably at 85Cr+ in advance bookings before hitting the screens.
