Actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Haneef passed away and will be laid to rest tomorrow

In Kochi, the film world is saddened by the passing of actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Muhammed Haneef, who died at 63. He was being treated for breathing problems at a private hospital in Kochi. Haneef, from Mattancherry, was the son of Hamsa and Subaida.

Kalabhavan Haneef passed away

After finishing school, he worked as a salesman and was active in drama. Haneef became the main mimicry artist of the Kalabhavan troupe, starting his artistic journey. He entered the film world through mimicry, with his first movie being Cheppu Kilukkana Changathi. Known for his funny roles, like the groom in Parakkum Thalika, he gained recognition. Acting in over 150 films and comedy shows, his last movie was Jaladhara Pump Set this year.

Haneef will be laid to rest in Mattancherry tomorrow, leaving behind his wife Waheeda and two children, Sharooqu Haneef and Sithara Haneef. Actor Tiny Tom paid tribute to him on social media.
