Jacob Elordi Replaced Andrew Garfield As The “Monster” In Upcoming Frankenstein

Jacob Elordi has replaced Andrew Garfield

A new twist has jolted Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated Netflix adaptation ofFrankenstein.” Jacob Elordi, star of “Euphoria” and “Elvis,” is reportedly stepping into the iconic role of the monster, originally slated for Andrew Garfield.

Garfield is not in because of scheduling issues. He is working on several concurrent projects, one of which is a role as scientist Carl Sagan.

Oscar Isaac will co-star with Guillermo del Toro in the movie as Pretorious, the doctor who searches for the monster thought to have perished in a fire forty years prior. This will not be “Young” Frankenstein, then. Christoph Waltz, a two-time Oscar winner, and Mia Goth are costarring.

Here’s What Guiillermo Del Toro Said! Back In Fall

“I’m doing Frankenstein. We’re working on it, we start shooting on it in February. It’s a movie I’ve been wanting to do for 50 years since I saw the first Frankenstein and I had an epiphany and is basically a movie that requires a lot of growth and a lot of tools that I couldn’t have done 10 years ago, 20 years ago and now I’m brave or crazy enough or something and we’re going to tackle it.”

There’s no official release date confirmed for Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein
