Discussing her portrayal of Indira Gandhi, Shaikh admits her initial disbelief in playing such an iconic character. ‘I feel lucky to be in this role, but it took me a while to believe in myself. Meghna Gulzar believed in me from the start, even when I doubted myself.’
‘Sam Bahadur’ is set to hit theaters on December 1, 2023, competing with ‘Animal,’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for ‘Kabir Singh.’
