Christopher Nolan Criticized For One Of His Movies

Christopher Nolan On Being Criticized!

During the Jan. 4 ceremony at New York City’s Tao Downtown, an audience member interacted with Director Christopher Nolan. When asked if he reads reviews of his films, or specifically, if he “opens The Guardian today,” (One Of Audience Said), “You know, Christopher, you probably shouldn’t open The Guardian today.”

Then Nolan obviously admire it and summoned his appreciation to film critics and criticism by telling a interesting incident about how, while using his Peloton for a workout class, the instructor accidentally criticize one of his movies. Interestingly, the Oscar nominee refrained from revealing the name of the movie, even though the Peloton instructor had no idea he was in their virtual class that day.

Nolan Said. ā€œI was on my Peloton. Iā€™m dying. And the instructor started talking about one of my films and said, ā€˜Did anyone see this? Thatā€™s a couple hours of my life Iā€™ll never get back again!’ā€ ā€œWhen [film critic] Rex Reed takes a shit on your film he doesnā€™t ask you to work out!

However, we can only speculate on which Nolan masterpiece triggered the instructor’s ire. Was it the “Inception”? The existential dread of “Interstellar”? Or perhaps the mind-bending time travel of “Tenet”. Whatever the case may be, one thing’s certain: this Peloton encounter has become the latest chapter in Christopher Nolan’s ever-surprising cinematic journey.
