Sir Sir Sarla (Teleplay)

This Zee Theatre teleplay is a story about young love and the clash between dreams and reality. Sarla, a naive student, has feelings for her professor, Palekar. Even though they share a connection, the older professor can’t come to terms with his feelings and guides Sarla toward a loveless marriage.

Directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay, this Makrand Deshpande teleplay stars him as the professor, along with Aahana Kumra, Sanjay Dadhich, and Anjum Sharma.

12th Fail (Film)

This biographical drama, produced, written, and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is an inspiring story for young people struggling against poverty. It’s based on Anurag Pathak’s book about Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame challenges to become an Indian Police Service officer. Vikrant Massey plays the lead role, supported by Medha Shankar, Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Priyanshu Chatterjee. Jawaan (Film)

Dhumrapaan (Teleplay)

Directed for the stage by Akarsh Khurana and filmed by Adhaar Khurana, this Zee Theatre teleplay gives insight into the suppressed frustrations of young people caught in the grind of a demanding corporate career.

The teleplay is a comedy about the corporate rat race but also discusses mental health and how young people cope with work pressures. It features Shubhrajyoti Barat, Akarsh Khurana, Sartak Kakkar, Taaruk Raina, Sidharth Kumar, Lisha Bajaj, and Ghanshyam Lalsa.
