Disney+ is bringing in a big Marvel treat in December called “What If…” This animated series plays with alternate Marvel histories, introducing new ideas or expanding on what we’ve seen before. And here’s the twist—they’re dropping episodes every day from December 22 to 30.
Also, keep an eye out for a Christmas special on Disney+, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever,” landing on December 8. Remember Chicken Run? Well, Ginger and Rocky are back after 23 years in “Dawn of the Nugget.” It’s a sequel on Netflix where the chickens, with new voices (Zachary Levi and Thandiwe Newton), have to break into a farm to save one of their friends. This one drops on December 15.

Prime Video is rolling out an animated Christmas adventure called “Merry Little Batman” on December 8. Even though it’s not animated, animation lovers shouldn’t skip the theater version of “Spirited Away” on Max. It hits screens on December 24, adapting the classic Studio Ghibli story. There are two versions with different lead actresses, both telling Chihiro’s magical coming-of-age tale.
Paramount+
Get ready for a massive holiday release with “Baby Shark’s Big Movie.” The sequel to “Baby Shark’s Big Show” is a musical adventure from Nickelodeon and Pinkfong. This time, it’s not just a YouTube video; it’s a big movie with tons of underwater characters. Dive in on December 8.
