Talking numbers, ‘Farre’ didn’t make much on its seventh day—just Rs 20 lakh, making the total collection Rs 2.93 crore. It started slow, earning only Rs 35 lakh in the beginning. ‘Farre’ is actually a Hindi version of a Thai movie called ‘Bad Genius,’ all about cheating in exams.
Now, the movie faces tough competition. Newcomers Prasanna Bisht and Jane Shaw joined ‘Farre,’ along with Ronit Bose Roy and Sahil Mehta.
Directed by Soumendra Padhi, it cost around Rs 15 crore to make. But, it’s in a ticket booth battle with Salman’s ‘Tiger 3′ and Vikrant Massey’s ’12th Fail.’ And, as if that’s not enough, ‘Animal’ and ‘Sam Bahadur’ also hit the screens, adding more excitement to the film scene.
