People love SUVs not just here but all around the world. They want cars that are big and perform well. Because of this, many companies keep bringing out new SUVs. This year, a special SUV finally came to our country after a long wait. As soon as it was available, a lot of people booked it, breaking many records. The company made this car here and also sent it to other countries. But now, there’s some news that they are sending this car to Australia too. However, there are some big differences in the car there, and it feels a bit unfair.

We’re talking about the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. The company started sending the 5-door model of Jimny to South Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East in October. Now, they’ve launched the 5-door model in Australia too, calling it Jimny XL. It looks just like the one we have here, but it has a lot more features.

So, what’s different?

The new Jimny in Australia has a major upgrade called Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It’s got cool stuff like emergency braking that works on its own. Plus, there’s lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, and a weaving alert system. They also packed in 6 airbags and traction control as standard features for extra safety.

Same engine but different power:

In the Jimny launched in Australia, they used the same engine as the one in India. It’s a 1.5-liter petrol engine, but they tweaked it a bit differently. This engine makes the car go with 100 horsepower and 150 Newton-meters of torque. You can shift gears manually with 5 speeds or go for the easy 4-speed automatic gearbox. And, cool thing, the 4×4 feature is included standard in the car.
